Value Delivered
Art and his team plan and deliver end-to-end mechanical and facilities solutions that meet the high-performance demands of today’s industrial, water, wastewater, and other facilities. After reviewing bid requests, he prepares comprehensive proposals and estimates that cost effectively satisfy the clients’ mechanical construction and services specifications.
When a bid has been awarded, he assembles the company’s resources and expertise, hires appropriate subcontractors, and manages purchasing of required materials. He then works with his project team to track quality, costs, and schedules, ensuring on-time, on-budget completion. The result is mechanical and construction projects that provide outstanding safety, performance, and value, while delivering complete client satisfaction.
Construction and Facilities Services Expertise
Over the last three decades, Art has overseen more than a billion dollars worth of municipal wastewater and other large construction projects. After majoring in liberal arts at C.W. Post College, he joined Plumbers Local Union #457 in Mineola, N.Y., as an apprentice plumber.
In 1968, he became a project manager at James McCullagh Co., where he worked on healthcare and higher education facilities before focusing on water pollution control projects. In 1985, he became a principal and executive vice president at McCullagh. He took his current post at Heritage in 2009.
The Personal Side
Art and his wife have two children, a boy and a girl. In his spare time, he likes to play golf and go fishing. He also enjoys watching New York Yankees baseball and New York Giants football.
